A private PDF editor that never uploads your file
pdnexa processes your PDF right in your browser, so it stays on your device the whole time. It is fast because nothing has to upload or download from a server, and it is free to start with no account.
How it works
- When you open a PDF, your browser reads it from your device into the tab’s memory.
- The tool (merge, split, compress, edit, sign and the rest) runs as code in that same tab.
- The result is saved straight back to your device as a download. No copy of the PDF is sent to pdnexa.
What we do and do not see
- We do not receive your PDF, its pages, or its text.
- If you sign in, we store your account, your plan, and the names of files you downloaded in Account history. Never the file itself.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for operations.
Check it yourself
- Open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab, and run a tool. You will see the page and its code load, but no request that carries your PDF.

- Not yet. Word, Excel, PowerPoint conversion and OCR are not available today.
FAQ
Can I edit a PDF online without uploading it?
Yes. pdnexa edits the PDF in your browser. The file is read from your device and the result is downloaded back to it; it is not uploaded to our servers.
Is it safe for confidential documents?
Because the file is processed on your device, it is not stored on or shared with our servers. Keep your browser and device up to date, as with any sensitive file.
Do I need an account?
No. The tools work without signing up. An account is only needed to buy a paid plan.
Is pdnexa free?
Yes. Free: 20 pages and 10 MB per file. Every tool counts toward 5 a day, including Edit and Convert. Compress counts only when the file gets smaller. No account needed. Paid plans remove the limits: Pro ₹1,299 once for 365 days or ₹199 once for 30 days, or a 7-day pass for ₹29. One-time payment by UPI or card; plans do not renew on their own.
